Hajj Taxi

A private car and driver for the journeys around Hajj: airport to Makkah, Makkah to Madinah and hotel transfers, at a fixed price per car.

How we support pilgrims during Hajj season

Hajj season moves at its own pace. Roads into Makkah are busier, checkpoints are more frequent and schedules get tight. At Umrah Taxi we arrange a private car with a driver who knows the area, so you get from the airport to your accommodation, then on to Madinah or back to the airport once your rites are complete, without hunting for a ride on the street.

One thing to be clear about up front: during the days of Hajj, vehicle access to the holy sites (Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat) is controlled by the authorities and requires permits, and movement between them is normally handled by your licensed Hajj group. Our work therefore centres on the journeys around Hajj: arrival, intercity travel and departure. If you need a specific trip inside Makkah, send the details on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is possible on that date.

Trips pilgrims usually book with us

  • Arriving through Jeddah Airport: your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign, we track your flight, and you get 60 minutes of free waiting after landing. Full details are on our Jeddah Airport to Makkah transfer page.
  • Makkah to Madinah: many pilgrims visit the Prophet’s Mosque after Hajj. The drive is about 450 km and takes roughly 4.5 to 5 hours, with stops for prayer and rest. See the Makkah to Madinah page.
  • Back to the airport: from Makkah or Madinah to Jeddah Airport, with a departure time that leaves room for end-of-season traffic.
  • Short hops: hotel to the train station or Masjid Aisha (Taneem) outside the peak days.

Fixed fares per car

Fares are for the whole car, not per passenger, and you pay on arrival. Examples from our current fare table, in Saudi riyals:

What to send us when you book

  1. Your flight number and date, if the pickup is at an airport.
  2. Your hotel name or address in Makkah or Madinah.
  3. How many people and how many large suitcases, since this decides the right vehicle.
  4. Any special needs: elderly travellers, a folding wheelchair, small children.

Send it to WhatsApp +966551796487 and you will receive a confirmation with the final fare.

Tips from the season itself

  • Book as early as you can. Demand for cars rises sharply just before and right after Hajj.
  • Leave extra time for the airport run, because roads get crowded once the days of Tashreeq end.
  • If you are coming from abroad for Hajj, ihram is entered at or before the miqat, and many pilgrims put it on in the aircraft before landing.
  • Keep water and the phone number of your driver within reach. Summer heat in Makkah is intense.

Can you drive me between Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah?

Movement within the holy sites during Hajj is regulated by the authorities and is usually handled by licensed Hajj groups. Send us your details and we will explain what we can offer on those specific days.

Can you take me from Makkah to Madinah after Hajj?

Yes. The drive is about 450 km and takes roughly 4.5 to 5 hours with stops for prayer and rest. The fare is SAR 400 by sedan, 600 by family SUV/van and 1000 for VIP, per car.
