When Is a Luxury Transfer Worth It?
Not every journey needs a premium car, but some clearly benefit from one: elderly parents arriving for Umrah after a long-haul flight, an important guest your company is hosting, a couple at the start of their honeymoon, or a family facing the long drive between Makkah and Madinah. For these trips Umrah Taxi offers its VIP class: our highest vehicle category with a private driver and a fixed fare you know before departure.
What Sets the VIP Class Apart
- A roomier, quieter cabin: more legroom and comfortable seating that makes long distances easier.
- Full privacy: the car is reserved for you and your companions only, never shared.
- Attention to detail: help with luggage, punctual pickups and stops for prayer or rest on request.
- One price per car: the fare does not change with the number of passengers.
We do not promise a specific model by name, because the available car can vary by date, but the class you book is the class you get. To compare all three classes, visit the fleet page.

VIP Airport Meet-and-Greet
For airport pickups the driver follows your flight and waits in arrivals with a sign bearing your name. You get sixty minutes of free waiting after landing, so there is no need to rush through immigration or baggage claim. From there the driver heads straight to your hotel. If you are going directly to the Grand Mosque after landing in Jeddah, read about our Jeddah Airport to Haram transfer.
The Long Drive Between the Two Holy Cities
Makkah and Madinah are roughly 450 km apart, about four and a half to five hours by road. Over that distance a comfortable car matters, especially with older relatives or small children. You can ask to stop at a roadside station for prayer or a meal, and set your departure for after a particular prayer. Full details are on the Makkah to Madinah taxi page.
Occasions That Call for Something Special
Beyond Umrah trips, people book the VIP class to welcome family arriving from abroad, to drive a bride and groom on their wedding day, or to escort an official guest from the airport to their accommodation. Whatever the occasion, tell us what it is and the timing so we can plan the pickup precisely and have the driver arrive comfortably early.
Booking Steps
- Send your route, date and time on WhatsApp to +966551796487 and mention you want the VIP class.
- Add the number of passengers and bags, plus your flight number for airport pickups.
- We confirm the fixed fare, then send the driver's name and number before pickup.
- Pay on arrival. Normal bookings require no prepayment.
Can I choose the car model by name?
We reserve the class rather than a model. If you have a preference, mention it and we will tell you what is available on your date.
Does the VIP fare change with the number of passengers?
No, the fare is per car. What matters is whether the passengers and luggage fit, so please tell us both when booking.
Is VIP suitable for a large family?
With many people or a lot of luggage, a spacious family vehicle may be the better choice. We will recommend the best fit once we know the details.
Can I book VIP for the return trip to the airport too?
Yes. Both legs can be confirmed in the same WhatsApp conversation.
