Departure day is always busy: checking out, gathering bags, double-checking passports, maybe one last meal on the Corniche. The last thing you need is to stand outside the hotel wondering when a car will turn up. At Umrah Taxi we book a private car with a driver who pulls up at your hotel entrance at the agreed time and takes you to the departures hall at King Abdulaziz International Airport.
How much time to allow
Road time depends on where your hotel is. Hotels in north Jeddah are closer to the airport than those in the centre, on the Corniche or in Al Balad, and traffic builds in the evenings and at weekends. So we suggest a pickup time once we know your hotel and flight, aiming for you to reach the airport about three hours before an international departure and around two hours before a domestic one.

From reception to departures
- Before pickup you receive the driver's name and number, and they contact you as they approach the hotel.
- The driver helps move your bags from the lobby to the car.
- You head straight to the airport, with no stops unless you ask for one.
- You are dropped at the entrance to the terminal your flight leaves from.
Pilgrims on the way home

Tips before you leave the hotel
- Finish checkout at least ten minutes before the driver is due.
- Give us the hotel name exactly, as several Jeddah hotels have similar names.
- Tell us precisely how many large cases you have so we send the right car.
- For dawn flights, book the evening before.
Can the driver collect us from two different hotels?
Yes. Mention both hotels when booking and we will factor that into the timing and price.
What if checkout takes longer than expected?
