Most visitors to Madinah choose hotels in the central area around the Prophet’s Mosque so they are steps from prayer. That same area is also the busiest, and some of its streets close to cars at prayer times. So it is not enough to find a car at the airport. You need a driver who knows how to reach your particular hotel entrance, and when arriving is easiest.
That is what Umrah Taxi provides: a welcome in the arrivals hall at Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport, then a direct ride to your hotel, at a fixed fare for the whole car paid on arrival.

The same price applies to central-area hotels and anywhere else in the city, and it does not change with the number of passengers as long as they fit in the car. There is no prepayment for normal bookings. Other fares are in our fares guide.
At the airport
We track your flight by number, and your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name. You have 60 minutes of free waiting after landing, usually enough for passports and bags even on busy days.
On the road
The airport is north-east of the city and the run to the central area is fairly short, about 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. If you arrive close to a prayer time, the driver may suggest waiting a few minutes for the crowds around the Haram to thin out.
At the hotel
The driver gets as close to the entrance as traffic rules allow and helps unload your bags. If your hotel is on a street that is temporarily closed, he stops at the nearest permitted point and shows you the way.

Most hotels will hold your luggage until your room is ready. The driver drops you at the hotel and you can head straight to the Prophet’s Mosque.
